2.5 hours · Covers Moorish Seville to the present day · ★4.8 from 20 reviews · $45
Most Seville tours cover one monument and then you're on your own. This walk connects three buildings from three completely different eras of the city, which means by the end of 2.5 hours you have an actual frame for understanding what you're looking at everywhere else.
The route starts at Salvador Church — a former mosque whose Christian conversion in the 17th century produced one of the most architecturally layered buildings in the city, and now houses some of the finest Holy Week sculptures in Andalusia. From there you move through the streets of Arabic Seville to Casa de Pilatos, where the guide explains how 15th-century Spain absorbed Italian Renaissance ideas without abandoning its Moorish inheritance. The tour ends outside Las Setas (the Metropol Parasol), the most controversial piece of contemporary architecture in Seville — your guide has opinions about it.
Reviewer Jochen put it clearly: "Sergio showed us corners of Seville we would not have seen in 25 years." The guide covers things standard walking tours skip — the Arabic barrio that's still a working commercial neighbourhood, the April Fair outfitters, the streets that haven't changed in plan since the 11th century.
Entry to Casa de Pilatos is part of the tour price. Salvador Church admission is also included. The Metropol Parasol is viewed from the outside — the rooftop walkway ticket ($7) is not included but can be added independently after the tour.

"Wonderful tour to amazing places. Sergio is a competent and well-informed guide with deep knowledge of the old history of Seville. As a mini group of two, he showed us corners of Seville we would not have seen in 25 years. Fantastic!"
